Traditional hotel in the Alps

Sophia and I have owned the hotel for more than 30 years. Even though our boutique hotel is quite traditional and charming, being located in the Swiss Alps, I love spending my spare time trying out new gadgets. I am fascinated by new and innovative ideas, and love to try things out that are unique or quirky. When I heard about the new Julie booking system that works with Voice Control I was mind-blown and tried it out straight away (even though Sophia was more cynical at first and kept asking who I was speaking to, and who is this 'Julie').

For something that I just tried out to play around with as a novelty, as the newest stuff on the market, Julie has turned out to be a great overall solution for our boutique hotel.

In the past we used a property management system running on a server in our office to enter our bookings and create our bills. We also used a channel manager which was not connected to our hotel software - which was time consuming and meant we sometimes got double booked. Even though we had been getting by with our old solution I was amazed at the difference Julie brought to our day-to-day work, so I introduced her to my wife Sophia. 😀

Now Julie is taking care of our 15 rooms (with the help of Sophia) and looks after sending out reservation confirmations, creating invoices, updating our connected OTA channels (Booking.com and the regional tourism board, which uses Feratel) as well as guest administration.
